PURCHASING AGREEMENT & STORE POLICIES
Purchasing products on Elegant Weddings+ (our) website(s) the buyer agrees to all terms and conditions stated on the product page and in Terms & Conditions below. There by, the buyer agrees that he/she has read the description of the items being purchased and understood all aspects of the transaction.
We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders and to personalize your shopping experience. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology.
We use ‘cookies’ to keep track of your current shopping session to personalize your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time.
Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Store reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item.
Typographical Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, our store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
We accept all major credit cards. You can also pay with PayPal. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon receipt of your order.
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in CANADIAN Dollars only. Orders are processed upon clearance of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $35 fee on all returned checks.
Money orders must be “International” and in Canadian Dollars
Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders.
For items imported to the buyer’s country, buyer may need to pay Brokerage Fees, Customs Fees, Border Clearances Fees, Duties and any applicable taxes for these fees to the courier service. These fees are not limited to what is listed above and they are independent of any shipping fees and sales taxes the store collected.
All items are ‘Brand New’. Please note, many items are hand crafted; therefore, slight variations may occur. Similarly, the manufacturer reserves the right to change or alter the design due to availability of raw materials and production difficulties
Any decorations (Ribbons, Candy etc.) shown on images are NOT included in the price unless stated otherwise; they are shown as suggestions and display purposes only.
Some items may be out of stock due to the higher demand. You may place back-order and the items will be shipped when become available. Due to the fact that we sell via many different venues, it is possible that the stock is not updated ‘real time’. In the event that the stock runs out after you placed the order, you will be notified as soon as possible with an estimated available date. We will ship your product as it becomes available. First Pay first ship is our policy for back-ordered items. Please see the stock availability area for estimated availability of the product.
Personalization, Engraving and Customization
- The tradition in North America is that the bride’s name is followed by the groom’s.
- Our designers will use their discretion when fitting your message into the space available. Font size and number of lines may be adjusted.
- Please allow additional 5-10 business days for the personalization process.
- Personalized items are not eligible for returns or refunds
- Please know that we are not able to replace any damaged items when personalized, we recommend you order extra
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US TO REPLACE DAMAGED PIECES ON PERSONALIZED ITEMS.
Modifications & Cancellations of Submitted Orders
- Once your order is submitted, it will be considered ‘in processing’. Changes to your order will incur a change fee of $25.00 per order as we process our orders very quickly. Changes include but are not limited to personalization, address, ship type, added fees, product additions, product removal, order cancellations and gift messages, etc. Changes submitted via email will be made and charged without notice.
- Cancellation of orders with non-personalized items subject to $2.00 fee.
Processing & Delivery
- Orders are only processed after the payment is cleared.
- Most orders received before 11:00AM (EST) will process the same day, provided the product ordered is in stock.
- In house handling time varies, most items are shipped within 5 business days, however, handling time can be longer during busy season. Personalized items can take 5-10 extra business days. Please allow additional time for customs and border clearance if your item is shipped from outside of your country
- Orders are not processed or shipped on Weekends or Holidays. We observe Canadian and US national holidays.
- Multiple Product Orders: For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order. However, if products are shipped from the same warehouse, we reserve the right to hold the entire order until all items are available for shipping
- Although most favors are shipped packaged and assembled, some may be shipped un-assembled, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to assemble them when received. Most items that has personalized tags or stickers require customer assembly.
- Delivery times are varied between 5 to 15 business days within Canada and USA. Outside of the USA and Canada can take 4-12 weeks depending on the shipping methods requested.
- We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by us or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.
- Selecting a shipping method does NOT guarantee that we will use that method to ship, we will ship with the most reliable method available to your destination from our warehouses. If you provide us with your event date during checkout we will do our best to have the order shipped as soon as possible with an appropriate shipping method; however, this is not a guarantee that you will receive them on time.
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay import fees (duty, customs and taxes etc.) if items are imported; the buyer acknowledges that he/she is aware at the time of checkout these import fees to be paid to the courier service are independent of shipping costs and taxes already paid for the items.
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to choose the proper shipping method for their shipments according to the time to prepare and ship items. If an item is time sensitive, we reserve the right to update the shipping method and charge the buyer the difference.
- Please note, we are not responsible for any delays due to conditions beyond our control (i.e. natural disasters, evacuations, power failures etc.). We will do our best to have orders shipped in a timely fashion, please check with the courier service for any delays of shipments once it has left our warehouse.
- All items are inspected before shipping for quality assurance and packed securely to prevent most damages during shipping. Packages crossing borders are accessed by multiple entities (Courier Service, Customs, transport, offloading and reloading at the border, etc.), we cannot be responsible for any damages that occur to the packaging of our items. Damages to the packaging are usually the result of the rigorous stresses that occur while going through the Courier system. Replacing dented, crushed, split, wet, or any variation damages to the packaging of any of our items will solely be the responsibility of the shipping company and cannot be claimed for damages; the buyer will take the responsibility of resolving these issues directly with the courier/shipping company independent of us.
- Cold Sensitive Items: Any item that contains liquid (i.e. Snow Globes) will not be shipped during the winter months.
- Heat Sensitive Items: We do not guarantee the safe arrival of candles, chocolate and other heat sensitive items shipped during the hot summer months, if shipped via ‘Ground’ or ‘Free Shipping’. Recommended method of shipment is Express during this period. Please select the proper method during checkout.
Returns & Refunds
- Personalized items are NON-REFUNDABLE if personalization is done accurately.
- Custom made items are non-refundable as they are made only for you after you order them.
- All returns require prior approval by us and must be authorized within 3 days of receipt.
- A returned shipment must include a Return Authorization Number or it will be refused.
- Any returns by the courier or postal service of unclaimed packages will not be refunded as they fall under the unauthorized returns.
- You must provide an image of the item(s), before a replacement is sent.
- The returns must be sent back using the specified shipping carrier; otherwise it will be refused and sent back to you at your expense. The appropriate shipping carrier will be sent to you with the Return Authorization Number via email.
- The return reason must comply with at least one of the following reasons
- The item you received is not what you’ve purchased. i.e. you received completely a different article than you bought. For example you purchased a Cake-Top and you received a Candle Holder. In this case we will replace the item free and pay for the return of the other item.
- The item is not as described in the product description for the product you purchased and significantly different from the image shown. Beware that handcrafted items will be slightly vary from what is shown on the image. And colors displayed on the monitor may vary from the actual product due to color settings on your device.
- All communications must be done through email for record keeping purposes
- Refunds are granted for the item value as store credit only; the shipping costs, import fees are not refundable. A minimum of 15% or $15, whichever is greater, restocking fee applies on all returns except if we have sent you the wrong item.
- Return shipment costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Any items shipped with ‘Free Shipping Promotion’ is subject to shipping fees if returned or exchanged. We will deduct the applicable shipping fees from amounts owed; the costs will be determined for the shipping method used to ship the goods.

To keep you informed about our latest offers, we may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to the Store.
You may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us.
When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email.
When you enter a contest or drawing you are also included in our newsletter list to receive notice of promotions, specials and new additions to the Store site.
